The region is fabulous, very calm and silent. You can make gorgous hikes from your cave to la Zarza, Las Tricias or Santa Domingo or even to the Roque de Los Muchachos. In summer you can walk down to Cueva del Agua's own hidden beach

La Palma is an ideal place for walking holidays. There is a network of well-marked trails. (over 1000 kilometres, and according to European standards). No matter your level, there is always a trail that suits you.
Walking in the vicinity
Our Finca is situated in a gorgeous walking area, on the GR-130.
The GR-130, The Camino Real, or Royal Way, is the most famous walking route on La Palma. This old connecting road from carless times, connects de small villages and goes right around the island.

Day hikes to Los Franceses, Don Pedro, Puntagorda and Las Tricias are doable. Hiking around Santo Domingo, San Antonio, Llano Negro of Zarza is wonderful. There are walks that have a starting point a little further away. . In Puntagorda, El Tablado en Franceses you can book overnight stays, in case of walks that take several days.

on water-repellent paper. Sometimes we have simple walking maps at your disposal.
